14 days to the opening of the International Filmfestival Rotterdam and counting down. I wrote about the changes in the privileges of the volunteers before. There has been a reaction from Sandra den Hamer (director of the IFFR). It seems the IFFR organization is trying to organize special screening for its volunteers. I’ll see. I’ve decided to make the best of it, it will be fun anyway and I’m looking forward to the festival. I’m counting down, 14 nights and 8 days work before the IFFR starts.

Tonight the IFFR tests their internet reservation system. The last years it didn’t hold up to the pressure in the first days. The site went down the first days, because of the number of visitors. For the moment I just received an email saying that the test has been postponed half an hour. So I’ll tell about the test later 🙂 I do hope their internet reservationsystem will stand the test. That will take a lot off pressure from the shoulders of both professional and voluntary crew members at the box offices. So the focus can be on the movies.
