Op de Autorai staat momenteel de c,mm,n, een Nederlands initiatief om een milieuvriendelijke auto te onwikkelen, waarbij de open source principes gehanteerd worden. Zie ook mijn eerdere bericht. Op het weblog van Stichting Peakoil Nederland kwam ik een ander open source auto project tegen: Het Open Source Green Vehicle (OSGV™) project. De principes van het project zijn eenvoudig:
- Sustainable Technologies: to improve the energy efficiency of automobiles;
- Open-design Infrastructure: To accelerate sustainable technologies into the marketplace and to harness help from great minds around the world;
- Business Strategy: to commercialize our products and bring them to the hands of consumers.
