Prosy sells jewellery like bracelets, necklaces and hair clips. She wants to invest in the purchase of more items in order to increase her sales and in turn her monthly turnover.

About: Prossy is a vendor who deals in the sale of jewellery like necklaces, bracelets, hair clips and combs. She serves a wide client base that consists of clients like retailers, hawkers and individual buyers in both wholesale and retail. Over a period of six years, she has managed to establish a stable business due to her hard work and dedication. Prossy’s shop is currently well stocked with more items like mirrors, make-up kits and earrings. This provides her with a monthly net income of 100 euros.

Objective: Prossy wants to invest more in her business but she lacks sufficient capital. She therefore wants a loan to boost her capital and enable her to buy more items. This will attract more clients to her shop thus boosting her sales. She believes that her monthly turnover will increase by 24%, 12 months after obtaining the loan.

People, planet and profit: Prossy’s business has availed her with the financial means to support her husband in providing food, shelter and education for their children.

Prossy never went far in school, but this did not deter her from setting up her own business and becoming business oriented. She is thus a role model and inspiration to her fellow women.
