Jude owns an artifacts shop that he wants to expand. He wants a second loan to start importing the products for his business. This is going to help him to expand the business and serve his clients better.
In 2007, Jude got a loan of 3,500 Euros from MYC4 which enabled him to increase his stock and opened up a second outlet on Luwum Street in Kampala.
As a result of this, the number of clients and gross sales has increased and this is a very big achievement for the business. However it is very hard for him to maintain this growth with the current capital available in the business.
Jude wants to improve his business and serve his clients better. To achieve this goal, he would like a loan to enable him to purchase more than he is purchasing now. This will ensure that clients are served to their satisfaction. He believes that his monthly turnover will increase by 21%, 24 months after receiving the loan.
He works hard to provide quality services to his clients. His effort to hire more women in the business is consistent with the millennium Development Goal of women empowerment.
The business is also a source of employment to a number of people who use the income they earn to meet the needs of their families.
